Role of women
This week’s sermon can be sometimes be seen controversial.
I think we need to clarify that women play a significant role in the church today. So often we think men and women aren’t different … but they are. We look at Proverbs 31:10-31 as our text and that we need more Proverbs 31 women in our congregations.
The role women play as:
I. Wife
II. Teacher
III. Saint.

PCTC is around the corner.
The Pennsylvania Christian Teen Convention is an independently-run event.
Started in 1983, the convention meets in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on or around the last weekend of February. PCTC currently draws over 1500 teens and adults for a dynamic, intense weekend full of powerful worship, dynamic speakers, engaging workshop and fun events. All this is designed to energize the faith-walk of teens everywhere and encourage them to be an active force in God’s Kingdom, and to impact the world around them for Christ. On Feb 27th - March 1st, our congregation will be sending over a dozen teens and their sponsors to attend this event. What are some ways you can be involved?
Pray. Pray for each student there.
Encourage. Send encouraging notes or speak to the teens who are going.
Listen to our young people’s stories and what happened.
Promote. Don’t just let this mountaintop experience turn into a valley but promote our teens to do great things for the Kingdom.
