Several of you may have several questions like: Why Sunday, what happened to the old small group etc?
Let me answer your questions below:
I. Why Sunday? Sunday seems to be the best time for everyone. Those with children can have childcare already provided.
II. What about a time of fellowship and outings? We will plan as a group to do service projects, fellowship outings at least quarterly.
III. But I like to sleep in on Sunday, can I still do that? You can. 9am isn’t that early and with most young adults with young children – we’re up when the sun rises anyways. And besides there is this wonderful invention, (don’t know if you know about this yet) called the Sunday afternoon nap. It is great. You should try it sometime.
IV. What will we be studying? A video curriculum called: If You Want to Walk on Water, You’ve got to get out of the Boat – by John Ortberg.
V. Who will be teaching? We will have a few facilitators – mainly with our preacher’s help.
VI. Why should I come? To study God’s Word and build relationships with one another.
VII. Who will be there? Several young adults – those in their 20s and early 30s.
VIII. Where will this class be held? In Room 8 across from the Library.
IX. How long is the class? The Class is 45 minutes long – we’re asking people for 2.5 hrs a week to study and worship God.
X. Who should I contact if I have other questions? Gerrard@cchmd.com
XI. I teach Bible School during this time, how can I be involved? We’re looking at rotating several of the Bible school teachers and so that you can get in one of the sessions and also do outside of our walls fellowship activities.
The Class starts September 14th. Hope to see you there!
